WHAT WE DO

The Foundation organizes two major programs every year on the 2nd of October on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi birthday. The first program is held in the Peace Palace, the Hague to celebrate International Day of Non-violence. The second program is held at the Gandhi Monument in Amsterdam to observe Gandhi Jayanti.

The purpose of both of these programs is to promote Gandhi’s philosophy of non-violent resistance against injustice and oppression and using non-violent means for resolving political and social conflicts.
